Pajama Cardinalfish (Sphaeramia nematoptera)

Description:
The PJ Cardinalfish has fun and unique colors. The fish has a bright greenish-yellow face with orange eyes, in the middle of the fish black line goes down the center of the body. After that black bar the rest of the body is translucent with red polka-dots.    

Natural Ecology: 
Found in the Western Pacific Ocean from the Japanese Ryukyu Island to the Great Barrier Reef and from Java to Fiji.

Behavior:
Peaceful and usually like to be in small schools. They swim slowly and systematic and should be kept with other peaceful tankmates. 

Food:
Proaquatix specimens have been weaned to take aquarium pellets and flakes. Freshly frozen invertebrates such as ocean plankton, Mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp will be readily accepted.
